How to get there?

The forest train temporarily departs from Majláth station!

Dorottya Street

The train’s final destination is on Dorottya Street in Diósgyőr.

The easiest way to approach it is from the Miskolc-Tiszai Railway Station with tram number 1.

Those who travel with a coach will arrive at Búza Square. Next to the square is the Szinvapark (shopping centre), at the tram stop of which you can get on the tram number 1.

The‘LÁEV (kisvasút)’ is the stop where you have to get off the tram, or if you go by bus then the ‘Diósgyőri Gimnázium’ is the stop where you have to get off.

Lillafüred

In Lillafüred, the train stop of the forestry railway is by the Palotaszálló – Hunguest Hotel Palota. You can get there by getting on the bus number 5, which departs from the ‘Felső-Majláth’ stop. Then you have to get off the bus at the ‘Palotaszálló’ stop.

Garadna

In the valley of Garadna Lake is the forest train’s final destination.

You can get there by getting on the bus number 15, which departs from Felső-Majláth and goes all the way to Ómassa. If you travel by the tram number 1 from the Tiszai Railway Station, then you can get off at ‘Felső-Majláth’ tram stop, and get on the bus number 15.

Then you have to get off the bus at ‘Garadna vasút’ stop.
