Downtown Protestant Church (Kakastemplom “Rooster Church”)

The pulpit and the pipe-organ of the largest protestant church of the region were made in the 19^th century. The 69-meter tall tower hosts the largest bell of Miskolc, the Eszter Bell, weighing 30 quintals. The 182-cm large gilded rooster symbol of the church was renovated and then restored to its original place in January 2011. The pipe-organ and the interior of the church were recently renovated as well.
