Synagogue of Miskolc is one of the most significant buildings in the Hungarian roman style architecture. It was built between 1861 and 1863 by Ludwig Förster (he designed the synagogue in the Dohány Street in Budapest). It is a three-nave synagogue. The original furnitures were changed in 1864. It is located between the streets of Déryné and Kazinczy. There is a marble memorial table at the gate  in Street Déryné for the victims and Jewish kidnapped from Miskolc and the sorrounding settlements in 1944.

The Synagogue is closed from 6th, October 2013!
