In the administrative territory of Miskolc City of County Rank the parking public service subject to charges is ensured by Régió Park Miskolc Kft.
In the individual parts of the city parkingareas are divided to designated zones, indicated by signposts and additional signposts referring to charge payment.
The maximum parking time of each zone is the following:
| Green zone | 2 hours |
| Yellow zone | 3 hours |
| Blue zone | 4 hours |
| In priority tourist zones (Diósgyőr, Lillafüred) | unlimited |
Users staying in the vehicle while parking are not exempted from charge payment duty.
Parking in the area of the parking zone is possible:
- with parking ticket purchased at the parking meter located in the given charge zone, immediately after stopping, without separate call or
- when using the parking charge payment system by mobile phone by its initiation, immediately after stopping, without separate call or
- with parking card purchased in advance or
- with chip-card purchased in advance.
Charge payment duty in the parking zones for the use of parking spaces:
| on working days | between 08.00 and 18.00 hours |
| on Saturday | between 08.00 and 13.00 hours |
Exception:
Charge payment duty in the parking areas declared to be priority tourist zones applies:
- from 1st May to 30th September: every day between 08.00 and 18.00 hours,
- on the rest of the days of the year according to the general order.
Parking is free:
- on the feast of the city of Miskolc every year on 11th May,
- on All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day every year on 1st and 2nd November in designated areas.
